Beyond the figurative buyer truck, the Honda Ridgeline puts tradition into the wind with its traditional comfort and smart features. Looking for a classic walkway? It has a comfortable cabin and good manners. However, the innovative cargo box with traction and luggage in the bed and an existing sound system is using and developing the truck tradition. The automatic 280 hp V-6 and six-speed automatic transmission consist of a single drivetrain; Front-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional. Although built as a crew taxi with only 5.3 feet of bed, Ridgeline serves and satisfies a wider community than its competitors.

The Single Drive is a 280 hp 3.5-liter V-6 with 262 lb-ft of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission. We found this combination more appropriate. The motor feels smooth and is very easy to respond when you need the accelerator pedal firmly. Ridgeline is fast, but lacks, when you need to withdraw. The front-wheel drive model can weigh up to 3500 kg. The four-wheel drive Ridgelines are worth about 5000 pounds, which is about one ton lower than their V-6 competitors.

In many ways non-traditional pickups are shocked by the Ridgeline wheel. Feels polite and very competent on the way. The independent rear coil spring suspension contributes to the car-like driving quality that is not available with the rigid axle leaf spring arrangement used by the competition. Slim body at minimum angles and small bumps can barely be seen. The electric assisted steering is coming right. Ridgeline braking performance stands out as the only dynamic error. The braking distance between 70 mph and zero is long, and we feel that the brake pedal is soft and too much movement during normal operation.
