The Mazda SUV is new – and strangely – the CX-30, which enters the narrow space between the compact CX-3 and the compact CX-5. Why isn’t that called CX-4? We asked Mazda: It’s a long story. Anyway, we like your appearance. Mazda designers gave a sloped windshield and a thicker black plastic coating to help separate the 2020 CX-30 from other cross brothers.

We have nothing except good things to say about the new Mazda 3 and the same level of workmanship and design seems to have been moved to the 2020 Mazda CX-30. The infotainment screen is germinated from the middle of the instrument panel and controlled by a rotary knob in the center console; A series of climate control knobs separates the top and bottom line panels. Mazda said buyers could choose between eight or 12-speaker audio systems. A range of driver assistance will be available, including an adaptive cruise control and a pedestrian-sensing automatic emergency brake. The CX-30 will be available in Europe in 2019, but is not expected to be available in the US until 2020.

The CX-30 shares many mechanics and platforms with a completely new Mazda 3 sedan and hatchback, so we expect to have a 2.0-liter 2.0-liter 186-cylinder engine, six-speed automatic transmission and front or four-wheel drive. Mazda’s Skyactiv-X new gasoline ignition engine is likely to be found on the CX-30 at one end of the road.

Every five years or more, great redesign; Not much change in between. Separating these to generations makes a more meaningful difference in the shopping process.
